Trip to Conguillío

This year my sister and i wanted to have a very different summer vacation, so we decide to go to the south of Chile for a week, specifically to the araucanía region.

Our adventure begins on February 5th, we course to Temuco where we spend the night and the day after we take a bus to the great and wonderful Conguillío National Park. For me and my sister it was a dream come true to meet the Araucaria Madre, and after a trekking of 2,8 km in the route of "Los Carpinteros" we foud her, she was just like i imagined, an amazing 1800 years old araucaria, with a height of 50 mts, conveyed respect, peace and wisdom.

When we leaving the park, next to the Llaima volcano was the incredible Rainbow  lagoon, which is of volcanic origin and has the most beautiful colors sush as blues, reds, yellows and greens.

Was a really amazing day and a interesting experience in a place that i would love to come back, but this time with all my family.
